Activists are trying to open a D.C. bookstore in honor of a slain journalist
The bookstoer where I currently work has a dingy basement space for a future expansion. It’s always exciting to grow a book space. Especially in a community neighborhood. Especially in one of DC’s poorest neighborhoods.
Also love that this is in honor of a horrific cold case.
